An Apollo alternative that puts your growth on autopilot.
CapyScout's AI agent finds companies that fit what you sell, waits for the right time and reason to reach out, finds the right person with a verified email, and writes the message. Approve each one yourself, or turn on the Agent and let it send for you.
- Built for people who sell part-time or on a small team, not for exporting huge lists
- Finds companies the day something changes, like a new funding filing or a new Shopify store, with the source linked
- From $29 a month for your whole team, not per seat. Apollo's paid plans start at $49 per seat.
No credit card. Sign up with your work email.
A startup files for a new funding round. Here is what happens next.
-
1
It finds the company the day it changes
Every morning, daily feeds bring in brand-new companies: fresh funding filings, new Shopify stores and apps, new launches. Each gets a Fit score against your ideal customer.
Northwind Robotics - founded 2024, warehouse robots, Austin. Fit 82.
-
2
It shows the reason, with proof
A Form D shows a startup raising a private round, often weeks before any press. Every hit links to its source, and you can watch any company for your own signals too.
Raising a $4.5M private round. Source: SEC Form D, filed today.
-
3
It finds the right person
The filing names the CEO. CapyScout finds and checks her work email, or picks someone else in the roles you sell to.
Dana Lee, CEO. Work email verified.
-
4
It writes and sends the introduction
Written for the moment, and tactful: many founders have not announced the round, so it never mentions the filing or the amount. Approve it yourself, or let the Agent send it.
"Hi Dana - it looks like Northwind is getting ready to grow..."
You choose how hands-on to be: approve each message in Review each, or switch a campaign to Agent and it sends for you from your own inbox, within daily limits. The Agent unlocks on Basic and up once you have approved 10 messages from that campaign.
One price for the whole team, not per seat.
Find companies, watch them for signals, find contacts and get drafts. 2,500 credits a month.
Everything in Lite, plus sending from your inbox and LinkedIn, and the Agent. 5,000 credits a month.
Billed annually, or $65 per seat billed monthly. Every seat on the account is on the same plan.

Signal, draft, send. Then the Agent keeps going.
Start from people who already know you.
A contact database is one way to find leads. CapyScout also starts where you are already warm: your customers and lost deals, new signups, companies visiting your site, your LinkedIn connections, people engaging with posts in your space, and people you have met with.
Daily feeds add brand-new companies every morning, often before they reach any database: new funding filings, new Shopify stores and apps, new product launches. Lookalikes find more companies like your best customers. Every lead keeps the reason it was added, so the Agent knows what to say.
Made for teams where the founder or a few reps do the selling.
Founders doing their own sales
Outbound keeps running while you build the product. The Agent finds the next company worth contacting and reaches out only when there is a reason, from your own inbox.
Small sales teams
One price for the whole workspace with unlimited team members. Each rep sends from their own inbox and sees their own campaigns.
Probably not the right fit if you need
- -Bulk exports of thousands of contacts a month
- -A built-in dialer and call recording
- -Salesforce sync (we support HubSpot, Pipedrive and Attio)
In that case, keep Apollo and use CapyScout beside it (below).
Swap out the busywork, or keep Apollo and add the timing.
Tasks CapyScout can take over
- Building lists from filters every week
- Describe the companies in plain words, or get new ones each day from a daily feed.
- Checking target accounts for news by hand
- Watch them. You get an alert when a signal fires, with the source.
- Looking up the right person and their email
- Found and verified when there is a reason to reach out, not for a whole list up front.
- Writing first lines from scratch
- Drafted from the signal, ready for you to edit.
- Follow-ups from your own inbox and LinkedIn
- Approve each step, or let the Agent send them, with send limits and warm-up built in (Basic and up).
Where it works alongside Apollo
- Bring your Apollo lists in
- Connect Apollo and import a saved list, or upload a CSV export. CapyScout starts watching those companies.
- Keep sending through Apollo
- Add an "Email via Apollo" step. When a signal fires, the person lands in your Apollo sequence with a subject and opener written from what changed.
- Keep your dialer and database
- Use Apollo for calling and bulk data. Use CapyScout to decide who to contact this week and why.
Both have data, signals and AI. They start in different places.

Common questions
Can CapyScout fully replace Apollo?
For many founders and small teams, yes: it covers finding companies, watching them, finding the person, drafting and sending from your own inbox. If you depend on bulk contact exports, a dialer or Salesforce, keep Apollo for those and use CapyScout to decide who to contact and when.
Apollo has signals and AI too. What is different?
Yes. Apollo's plans include signals, buying intent topics, AI scoring, AI research, AI writing and agents, on top of a large contact database. CapyScout starts from the other end: you pick the companies and the changes that matter, it watches them and brings in brand-new companies every day, and when something fires it finds the person and writes the message around that change, with the source attached. Many teams use both.
Can the AI agent send for me?
Yes, on Basic and up, when you switch a campaign to Agent. Every campaign starts in Review each, where you approve each message. After you have approved 10 messages from a campaign with few edits, you can turn on the Agent: it sends email from your own inbox, and LinkedIn steps if you choose, within your send window and daily limit. If bounces, opt-outs or negative replies show up, it switches itself off and emails you. Calls and other manual steps always wait for you.
How does pricing compare for a team?
CapyScout charges one price per workspace, from $29 a month, with unlimited team members on paid plans. Searching and watching are included; credits are used only for new data, such as finding a person and their email.
Can I bring my Apollo lists?
Yes. Connect Apollo and import a saved list, or upload a CSV export. Duplicates are matched by domain and email.
Put your growth on autopilot.
See who to contact and why, review the first drafts, then let the Agent take it from there.
