Native Slack app

Buying signals, delivered where
your team already works.

Add CapyScout to Slack in one click. Signal alerts and a morning brief land in the channel your team already watches, and the /capyscout command enriches any company or finds new prospects without anyone opening another tab.

Scoped OAuth - never reads your messages. Disconnect anytime.

A real app, not a webhook

One click of OAuth and you are done. No incoming webhook URLs to copy, no Zapier task quota, no formatting JSON payloads by hand.

Work from the channel

Enrich a domain, find prospects, or check your credits with the /capyscout command. The card comes back in seconds, right where you asked.

Act without switching tools

Every card carries buttons: open the record in CapyScout, add the company to your watchlist, or share the card with the channel.

What lands in the channel

Cards your team can act on, not noise

When a signal fires - a funding round, a hiring burst, a competitor switch - CapyScout posts a card to your channel with the company, the signal, and a Why Now note. Your workflow rules decide which signals fire, so the channel stays quiet until something is worth a look.

  • Signal alerts the moment they are detected
  • A "Why now" line so reps know the angle
  • A morning daily brief with today's tasks and plays
  • Buttons to open the record or start monitoring
  • IF/THEN workflow rules control what posts where

One connection, four ways to use it

Alerts, a daily brief, and a slash command

Signal alerts to a channel

When a monitored company trips a signal, the card posts to your default channel by itself - company, signal, Why Now, and action buttons.

  • - Funding, hiring, competitor, review, and website signals
  • - Workflow rules decide which signals fire
  • - Works alongside email and webhook alerts
A brief every morning

The CapyScout daily brief posts to your channel each morning: today's tasks, suggested plays, and a link straight to the queue.

  • - Who to contact today and why now
  • - One card, not a flood of messages
  • - Same brief available by email if you prefer
Enrich and find with /capyscout

A prospect comes up in a thread? Type /capyscout enrich and their domain. Need new prospects? /capyscout find and describe them in plain English.

  • - Fresh research from the live web, not a stale database
  • - /capyscout status shows plan and remaining credits
  • - Same credits as the app - one enrich, one credit
Act straight from the card

Every card has buttons. Add the company to your watchlist and signal monitoring starts immediately. Share the card so the whole channel sees it.

  • - Add to watchlist respects your plan's monitoring cap
  • - Share posts the card publicly with attribution
  • - Open in CapyScout jumps to the full record

  3. 3

Slack integration FAQ

How do I connect CapyScout to Slack?

One click of OAuth from the Integrations page - approve the app in Slack, pick a default channel, and send a test post. No webhook URLs to copy and no Zapier chain to maintain.

What does the /capyscout slash command do?

/capyscout enrich <domain> researches any company from the live web and posts a full intelligence card. /capyscout find <description> searches for new prospects matching a plain-English description, like "plumbing companies in Austin" or "competitors of hubspot.com". /capyscout status shows your plan and remaining credits.

What shows up in the channel?

Signal alerts as rich cards - the signal, the company, a Why Now note, and buttons to open the record or add it to your watchlist - plus an optional daily brief each morning with today's tasks and suggested plays. Your workflow rules decide which signals fire, so the channel stays quiet until something matters.

Does using CapyScout from Slack cost extra?

No. Slash commands use the same account credits as the app and the API - an enrich is one credit, a find is one search. Alerts and the daily brief are free. Each command is attributed to the Slack user who ran it, so you can see who spent what.

What permissions does the app request?

Only what it needs to post cards to the channels you choose and respond to the /capyscout command. It never reads your messages. You can disconnect anytime from the Integrations page, and a plain incoming webhook is also supported if you prefer not to install the app.
