Never walk into a
meeting cold again.
Connect your Google Calendar and CapyScout preps a research brief before every external meeting - who they are, why the timing matters, why you fit, and openers to start the conversation. Delivered to your inbox, your Slack channel, or the Meetings page before the call begins.
Read-only calendar access. Never reads your email. Disconnect anytime.
No more 15 minutes of frantic tab-hopping before a demo. CapyScout watches your calendar and researches every external attendee company before the meeting starts.
Each brief is built from live-web enrichment: what the company does, their tech stack, recent signals, and how they map to your ICP - not a database row from last year.
With auto-watch on, every company you meet joins your watchlist under a From meetings list - so buying signals keep flowing after the call, not just before it.
Four sections. Two minutes to read.
A brief is not a data dump. It is the two-minute read that makes you the most prepared person on the call: what they do, what changed recently, why your product fits their situation, and how to open.
- Snapshot - what the company does, size, funding stage
- Why Now - recent signals: hiring bursts, funding, launches
- Fit - how your product maps to their situation and ICP
- Openers - specific talking points to start the conversation

Calendar briefs FAQ
How do pre-meeting briefs work?
Connect your Google Calendar in one click of OAuth. CapyScout scans your upcoming events on an hourly cycle, spots meetings with external attendees, researches each attendee company from the live web, and delivers a short brief before the meeting starts.
What is in a meeting brief?
Four sections: Snapshot (what the company does, size, funding), Why Now (recent signals like hiring bursts, funding, or product launches), Fit (how your product maps to their situation, based on your ICP), and Openers (specific talking points to start the conversation). Every brief is backed by fresh enrichment, not a stale database record.
What calendar permissions does CapyScout request?
Read-only access to calendar events, nothing more. CapyScout looks at event times and attendee email domains to find external meetings. It cannot create, edit, or delete events, and it never touches your email. You can disconnect anytime from the Integrations page.
Where do briefs get delivered?
Every brief lands on your Meetings page in CapyScout. You can also have each brief emailed to you and posted to your Slack channel. You control the delivery channels and how far ahead CapyScout looks - from 4 hours to 2 days before the meeting.
Does it add companies to my watchlist?
Optionally, yes. With auto-watch on, any company you meet with is added to your monitored accounts under a From meetings list, so buying signals keep flowing after the call. You can turn auto-watch off and briefs still work.
Which calendars are supported?
Google Calendar today, connected per user so every rep on the team gets their own briefs. Outlook and Microsoft 365 support is on the roadmap.
