CapyScout for Chrome

Know who to reach out to, and why now, on any page.

Click the CapyScout icon on any company website, LinkedIn profile or Gmail email. See how well they fit, why now is the time, and what your team already did. Then add them to a campaign in one click.

Free to install. Works with your CapyScout account: 7-day free trial, no credit card.

Works where you already work

One click on the page you are on.

No tab switching, no copy and paste. The side panel opens next to the page and shows what CapyScout knows.

Company websites

Look up the company behind any site: Fit, why-now signals with dates and sources, people you have saved, and their tech.

LinkedIn profiles

See the person and their company together, whether you are connected, and which campaigns they are already in.

Emails in Gmail

Know who wrote and how well their company fits, then get a suggested reply you can put in your reply box.

Or type any website or email address into the search box in the panel.

What you see

Everything you need to decide, before you reach out.

Not just contact details: whether to reach out, why now, who you know there, and what your team already did.

Fit

Know why a company fits, or does not.

Every company is checked against your ideal customer: industry, size, location and the signals you care about. Each check shows what the company is and what you look for.

When something is missing, the panel says so, and a click on Research this company fills it in.

Your team

See what your team already did.

Which campaigns the company is in, who replied and when to pick it back up, and how often they visited your website this week.

Plus the teammates who know someone there, from their LinkedIn connections. Nobody reaches out twice, and the warm way in is right there.

Gmail

Triage any email, then reply in one click.

Open an email and click the icon. See who wrote and how well their company fits. Analyze this email tells you if it is a sales lead, a vendor pitch or something else, and what to do next.

The suggested reply goes into your reply box as plain text, for you to edit and send.

Act

Add to a campaign without leaving the page.

Pick a campaign and the company or person is in, with the why-now reason carried into the first draft. In Review each and Agent campaigns, CapyScout finds the right person.

Or Watch the company to get an alert when something changes, save it to a list, or mark it not a fit so it is never suggested again.

Common questions

Is the CapyScout Chrome extension free?

It is free to install and works with your CapyScout account. New accounts start with a 7-day free trial, no credit card. Looking up a company is free; researching a new company or analyzing an email uses 1 credit, and the extension always asks first. See pricing.

Do I need a CapyScout account?

Yes. Click Sign in in the side panel and connect your account once. The extension then works as you, in your workspace, with the same team rules as the app.

What does the extension read on a page?

Only the page you click the CapyScout icon on: the website's address and name, the name, headline and current company at the top of a LinkedIn profile, or the sender of the email you have open. It has no background scripts reading pages and it does not track the pages you browse.

Does it read my Gmail inbox?

No. It looks at the one email you have open, and only when you click the icon. The message text is sent only when you click Analyze this email. It does not connect to your Gmail account and never sends email for you; Insert into reply only places the suggested reply in a reply box you have open.

Does it work on LinkedIn?

Yes, on profiles and company pages. It reads the visible top of the page when you click the icon, then shows the person, their company and whether you are connected. It never scrolls, clicks or collects LinkedIn pages in the background.

Which browsers does it work in?

Google Chrome on desktop, version 116 or later. Other browsers that install extensions from the Chrome Web Store may work, but we test on Chrome.

Can my teammates see what I do in the extension?

The extension follows the same team rules as the app. You add to your own campaigns, and owners and admins can add to all of them. Everyone sees that a company is already in a teammate's campaign, so nobody reaches out twice.

How do I sign out or remove it?

Use Sign out in the extension menu, or Sign out everywhere under Settings in CapyScout to end every browser at once. Removing the extension from Chrome deletes everything it stored in your browser.

See who to reach out to, on every page.

Install CapyScout for Chrome, sign in once, and click the icon on any company website, LinkedIn profile or email.
