Find more companies like the customers you already won.
Your closed-won list is the best lead source you have. Add your wins and CapyScout learns what those customers share that most companies do not, finds more of them, and tells you when an account you watch starts to look like your best customers.

From customer list to live buying signal
Customer Lookalikes is not a static export. It keeps the profile, the search, and the watched-account signal tied together.
Add a customer as soon as a deal closes, import a CSV, or bring in CRM deals. Mark won, churned, and lost accounts so the model learns both fit and risk.
The profile compares industry, local category, size, geography, website technology, and revenue band against the market, not just against your own list.
Each customer group becomes a search. Results are ranked against your win profile, with matched traits and risk caps visible before you add them to Accounts.
"Matches your best customers" can fire on watched accounts when a prospect crosses your minimum match threshold and can feed signal workflows.
Not another one-seed lookalike list
Most lookalike tools start with one seed and return famous names that look similar. CapyScout starts with your actual wins, splits them into customer groups when there is enough signal, and keeps the traits that explain why they are different from the rest of the market.
Every win, not one seed. Your customers usually fall into a few groups. CapyScout can learn up to 3 groups when there are enough customers.
What is rare, not what is common. "Has a website" describes everyone. A tool used by a small slice of the market but many of your wins is a useful trait.
Bigger deals matter more. The profile can weight wins by deal value, so the customers that changed your business carry more influence.
You stay in control. The app shows the traits it learned. Remove a coincidence and the profile and matches update.
Present in your customers, but also present across the market.
Frequent in your wins, uncommon in the market, and useful for a search.

Ranked lookalikes, with the reason attached
A result is not useful unless your rep can see why it belongs there. Customer Lookalikes scores companies against the profile, shows the matched traits, and explains when a result is most like a customer group.
Rows shown per lookalike run before you decide what to keep.

A signal fires when a watched account starts to fit
CapyScout already watches accounts for buying signals. Customer Lookalikes adds one more deterministic signal: when the company scores at or above your minimum match against the learned win profile, it can create a signal hit and feed your workflows.
The signal stores the matched facts that made the account qualify.
If the closest customer is not reference approved, the summary stays generic.
It learns who not to chase, too
Closed-lost and churned customers are not trash data. They tell the profile which patterns should cap a match score or make a rep slow down.
If a trait is common in churned or lost accounts and rare in retained wins, companies with that trait can be capped at a lower match.
When there are enough customers, CapyScout hides each customer in turn and asks whether the profile learned from the others would have found it.
The profile can store closest-customer explanations, but outreach names a customer only when it is marked OK to reference.
A business name and city can be enough
If your best customers are local businesses that signed up with personal email addresses, add the business name and city. CapyScout can look up the local listing, learn the category and area, and search for more like them.

Turn the profile into scheduled prospecting
From Customers, start agents that keep working from the customer base you already imported.
Seeds similar-company lookup with your best customers or one profile group, then ranks candidates against the learned profile.
Runs through your customer rotation and searches for companies that compete with them, while excluding your customers and your own company.
Agents run from Customers on the saved agent schedule and can add new companies to a list or campaign.
Private by default. Clear on credits.
Customer Lookalikes is most useful when the whole team trusts what it is doing with customer names and credits.
Only customers marked OK to reference are named in outreach. Others stay generic in explanations.
Reading a customer uses 1 credit when the company profile is found. Profile learning and the watched-account match signal are included.
Trait lift, coverage, avoided traits, and backtest readouts are shown so reps can challenge the profile.
Import again later. New wins, churns, and losses can update the profile, signals, and customer-based campaigns.
Your next best account may already look familiar.
Bring your best customers, let CapyScout learn the profile, and start finding companies your team can explain in one sentence.
Common questions
How is this different from other lookalike tools?
Most lookalike tools take one company and return others that look similar. CapyScout learns from all of your won customers, compares their traits with the broader market, weights bigger deals more, learns from churned and lost deals, and keeps watching for accounts that start to match.
What can I import?
Add customers one at a time, paste or upload a CSV with the provided template, or import closed-won and closed-lost deals from HubSpot, Pipedrive or Attio. A website or work email is best. Local customers can also start with a business name and city.
Can this work for local business customers?
Yes. If a customer used a personal email, add the business name and city. CapyScout can look for a local business listing, learn its category and area, and use that profile to find more local businesses like it.
Will you name my customers in outreach?
Only customers you mark as OK to reference are named. Everyone else is described generically, such as one of your dental practice customers, so your customer list stays private.
What does it cost?
Reading a customer uses 1 credit when a company profile is found. Profile learning, trait comparison, the watched-account match signal, and profile views are included. Prospecting runs that keep new companies use the same lead credit rules shown in the app.
What happens after CapyScout finds a lookalike?
You can review why the company matched, add it to Accounts, watch it for signals, or turn the search into an agent that keeps adding new matches to a list or campaign. Nothing is sent until you choose to start a campaign.
