Signals are how you teach CapyScout what a good moment to reach out looks like for your business. Each one is a question we ask about an account's public activity on every scan, and when the answer is yes, it lands in your feed.
Your starter pack
New accounts arrive with a set of signals based on the job you picked during setup, covering things like funding, new leadership, fast hiring, RFPs, and product launches. Open Signals to see the ones you have today.
Write your own
Describe a trigger the way you would explain it to a new rep, for example, "They are hiring SDRs or building out an outbound team." We turn that into a signal we can evaluate. The clearer and more concrete you are, the better it fires.
Mute and swap
If a signal is too chatty, mute it. It stays in your library and stops filling your feed, which frees a slot for something more useful, since each plan runs a set number of active signals at once.
Getting the balance right
A very specific signal, such as one that names your exact competitor, will fire rarely and catch only the clearest cases. A broad signal, such as hiring across several teams, will fire often and give you more to work with. Most teams run a mix and adjust as they see what shows up.
