Set it up once

Four steps, then it runs every day.

1. Sources

Pick where warm people come from.

Watch competitors and the people who post for them, topics your buyers post about, and buying signals like a new job. Paste any LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search for a one-time list.

Mix sources that bring volume with sources that bring strong intent.

2. Fit

Tell the fit check who counts.

Each person is ranked Strong, Good or Possible against the roles you sell to. Start Strict, leave out recruiters and job seekers, and add rules in plain words.

Mark people Not a fit and it learns. Best fits go first.

3. Sequence

Write for where they are in the sequence.

Visit their profile, then an invite with a short note on what changed. After they accept, one easy question. Next, offer something useful: "Want me to send it?" Then a two-line close.

Keep messages short, with no links and no pitch until they reply.

4. Goal and tone

Decide what you are asking for.

Start a conversation, or book a call. Either way the first message asks an easy question; the call ask comes later.

Pick a tone: professional, conversational or direct.

Every day

Five minutes, three places.

Tasks

Approve the day's invites, visits and messages. Each draft shows the signal it is built on, so a glance is enough.

Inbox

Filter to interested replies and answer them. When someone says yes to your resource, send it.

Sources, once a week

Swap any source flagged for finding no one, or no one who fits, and see which ones led to replies.

Common questions

How many sources should I start with?

Start with more than you think: a few competitors with the people who post for them, two or three topics your buyers post about, and a buying signal such as new jobs. After a week, CapyScout flags the sources that found no one or no one who fits, so you can swap them for better ones.

What if the people it finds do not fit?

Open Fit rules on the LinkedIn page. Switch to Strict, leave out kinds of people such as agencies or recruiters, add plain-words rules, and mark people Not a fit. The fit check learns from the people you keep and the ones you remove.

Do messages go out on their own?

Not by default. Every message waits for your approval in Tasks. Once a campaign has proven itself, you can let it run as an Agent within your daily limits.
