A signal campaign is a campaign that starts itself. Instead of loading a list and hoping the timing is right, you pick the moment that makes a company worth contacting, and CapyScout does the rest when it happens.
1. Pick the moment
Choose up to three signals as the campaign's trigger, like New funding round or New CRO / Head of Sales. Pick the target (and its pitch) the drafts should use. Start from Campaigns, New signal campaign, or from any signal with Use in a campaign.
2. Where companies come from
- Accounts you watch - when a trigger signal fires on a watched account, the company joins the campaign.
- An agent - an agent re-runs a Discover search on a schedule and adds new companies showing the same moment, with the date and source that matched.
If the same company fires a second signal, the new moment is added to the lead you already have. You never get duplicates.
3. Who to reach
Set the job titles to target, like VP Sales OR Head of Sales. Turn on Find the person for me and CapyScout finds one of them at each new company and verifies the email: 10 credits to find, 3 to verify, only for people actually found, up to the monthly budget you set.
4. The opener
Every lead carries its why now: the signal, one line, the date and the source. Drafts open with that moment, then connect it to your offer. You see the moments on each person in the campaign's People tab.
5. Sending
Campaigns start in review mode: every message is a draft until you approve it in Today or the campaign's review queue. After you have reviewed enough sends, you can turn on automatic sending for email steps in the campaign's Settings.
Manual campaigns still work
Have a list already? Start a manual campaign and add people yourself. You can turn a manual campaign into a signal campaign at any time from its Settings tab, under Starts when.
Alerts are separate
Slack, email, CRM and webhook alerts live under Settings, Automations. On the Signals page they are listed as Also notify.
